판교는 성남시에 위치한 IT 산업 중심지로, 판교테크노밸리로 알려진 고밀도 산업단지와 주거 지역으로 구성되어 있다. 이로 인해 건축물들이 밀집하고 고층화되었고 상대적으로 녹지와 공원 등의 휴식공간이 부족하다는 문제점이 있었다. 건축물의 주 용도가 업무시설인 점을 감안한다면 이러한 문제를 해결하고 직장인들의 복지 향상을 위해, 손쉽게 이용할 수 있는 휴식공간을 마련하는 방안을 모색해 보고자 하였다.
Pangyo, located in Seongnam City, is a major IT industry hub composed of the high-density industrial complex known as Pangyo Techno Valley. This has led to a high concentration and vertical development of buildings, resulting in a relative lack of green spaces and parks. Considering that the primary use of these buildings is for office facilities, there is a pressing need to address this issue and enhance the well-being of employees by exploring ways to create easily accessible relaxation spaces.
Site
사이트의 남쪽으로는 주거시설이 많이 포진되어 있고, 서쪽과 북쪽으로는 자연공간이 있다.
To the south of the site, there are many residential facilities, and to the west and north, there are natural spaces.
Concept
직원들이 업무를 하면서 동시에 휴식을 취할 수 있는 공간, 또한 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 접근성 있는 공간을 제공하고자 한다.
Provide a space where employees can work and relax simultaneously. Additionally, make it easily accessible.
Design
업무시설과 상업시설을 구분하여 매스를 분리하고, 각 매스의 코너에 휴식공간을 배치하여 외부 자연공간과의 공간적 연결을 도모하였다.
Separate the masses based on office and commercial facilities and place relaxation spaces at the corners of each mass to achieve spatial connectivity with the external natural environment.
